# MSTeams.link

> MSTeams.link is a free URL shortener built for Microsoft Teams meeting links: paste a long Teams meeting link and get a short link such as msteams.link/AB12, plus a QR code for the meeting. No account needed. Independent service, not affiliated with Microsoft.

Key facts:

- What it does: turns a long Microsoft Teams meeting URL (often 180+ characters, e.g. https://teams.microsoft.com/l/meetup-join/19%3ameeting_…) into a 4-character short link on msteams.link that redirects to the same meeting, and generates a QR code for it.
- Price: free. Optional Premium plan (4.99 EUR/month or 53.89 EUR/year, 7-day free trial) removes the waiting page for an instant redirect and adds detailed statistics.
- Account: not required to shorten. Signing in (Microsoft or Google) keeps your links and shows click statistics.
- Works with: Teams links copied from Outlook on the web, the new Outlook, classic Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, Microsoft Teams, and Teams free (teams.live.com).
